Not my typical narrative style, but it’s a welcome change. Amazing how washed-out the digital scan looks. (An ongoing frustration.)

Also, handmade and coloured with markers. I find that coloured pencils digitally scan better than markers or highlighters. Fluorescent markers get very distorted, so it’s quite frustrating.

During down-time (e.g. virus lockdown), I’ve found it useful to re-assess my priorities and things I’m thankful for. Hard to strike a balance, maybe? Even if one doesn’t have many ‘things’, it’s OK to be thankful for the absence of ‘things’ that we really don’t want. Namaste.(Family/friend drama, addiction, abuse, a mortgage, etc.)
