Also, handmade and coloured with markers. I find that coloured pencils digitally scan better than markers or highlighters. Fluorescent markers get very distorted, so it’s quite frustrating.

During down-time (e.g. virus lockdown), I’ve found it useful to re-assess my priorities and things I’m thankful for. Hard to strike a balance, maybe? This was the first ‘Neo Dullard’ comic I created. Background is coloured pencil. Everything is pen and ink, low-tech. But then I scan the image and upload it onto my laptop. I use Microsoft Paint to present the image, because I think Apple is a cult and I can’t afford PhotoShop. Author coughs, rattles an
