Music festivals are a non-issue in Melbourne in extended COVID lockdown. But I wrote this in mid-2018 and hmm.. I still don’t see why pill-testing or safe, public injection rooms are a problem. I don’t even use drugs. I’m honestly baffled at the argument(s) against.

Also, mid 2021 in Melbourne COVID lockdown. Drinking a bit more than usual. Noticed the divisiive red vs. white (‘us’ vs. ‘them’) nature of wine choices and decided to explore it in a hyper-sensitive manner.

Concept goes back several years, but only wrote and inked it in mid-2021. Tempted to stretch the concept to three panels, but seemed unnecessary.

‘Real Aussies’ is a theme for which I wrote three scripts, but only used the 2nd take. A different perspective on the exclusive, narrow, nationalistic thing. I wrote and coloured this back in 2018, but it takes me ages to publish digitally. (My art style has nothing in common with Indigenous Australian art, in caseContinue reading “Neo_Dullard comic, Batch 3, No. 13”

This is the final cat comic that I prepared. I wrote this in early 2019, but kept it on the back burner of ‘Neo Dullard’. (These are kitten stickers that I found at a local dollar store. Another cat monologue. I held onto this comic for almost 6 months, waiting for Melbourne COVID restrictions to ease. Extreme social distancing measures were enforced, so no one was having house parties. And then I published the comic on Instagram and it was a massive success! No, not really.. I think about 5 people liked it. ButContinue reading “Neo_Dullard comic, Batch 3, No. 9”

Yes, I realise that USB thumb drives are passé now. But 10 years ago is.. retro? At any rate, I guess taking pictures is just some silly thing that we do with our hands. A nervous habit?

A semi-political cartoon in troubling times.
